18K gold plated copper chunky butterfly earrings

Material:copper

What is Copper Material?
👉🏻it is an alloy composed of copper and zinc, has strong ductility, plasticity and wear resistance, high strength, high hardness, and strong chemical corrosion resistance.
Gold-plated copper/silver-plated copper: The inside of the material is copper, the outside is electroplated gold or silver, and the surface is plated with gold or platinum. The luster of gold or platinum replaces the original color of the original material, thereby improving the ornamental value of jewelry.
The material is often used by big names, and many earrings of Dior and Chanel are made of this material.

👉🏻What is ordinary real gold plated and what is real gold vacuum plated?
Also known as water plating, it uses the principle of electrolysis. In a certain electroplating solution, the ballast is the cathode, and the gold that needs to be ballasted is the anode. Direct current is applied to make the metal ions deposit on the ballast as a coating to form a uniform, compact , The metal layer with good bonding force can effectively enhance the appearance and wear resistance of the product.

The principle is that in a vacuum environment, the physical qi phase is deposited to form a coating film. Under the high temperature and vacuum conditions in the furnace, the color layer can be better adsorbed on the product crystal, without the need for a whole device, a plating tank, and a plating solution. The color layer of the product has high hardness, is not easy to fade, and has strong wear resistance. High-quality vacuum plating can effectively prolong the color retention life of jewelry, which is generally more than twice the life of ordinary gold plating.

👉🏻what is 14K or 18K gold plated?
According to the different gold content, the plating layer generally has 14k and 18k gold plating. 18K means that the gold content is 75%, 14K means that the gold content is 58.5%, and the rest is silver, copper, zinc and other metals. 18k gold plating is darker and brighter than 14k gold plating, closer to the color of gold. The thickness of the coating generally ranges from a few microns to tens of microns. The thicker the coating, the better the color retention and relatively more durable.
